Crystal Ann Meister, born on January 20, 1978, in Massillon, Ohio, passed away on March 8, 2026. She was a beloved soul who touched the lives of many around her. Crystal dedicated recent years as a Reseller of items, showcasing her spirit. Her professional journey included working for reputable firms such as Coleman Data Solutions, Shuttle One Limo, Penske, and Alliance Imaging.
A proud graduate of Canton South High School, Class of 1996, Crystal remained connected to her roots in the community throughout her life. Her warmth could be felt in her love for couponing and her fondness for cows, passions that illustrated her joyful personality. Above all, Crystal cherished her family and friends, finding great fulfillment in her role as a supportive wife, mother, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Meister; son, Nick Meister; daughter, Danyele Meister; father, Joe (Kelly) Hosner; brother, Cory (Lea) Hosner; sister, Maggie (Chris) Chapanar; uncle, Hans Englehaupt; and mother-in-law, Brenda Meister.
Crystal's memory will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew her, especially as she was preceded in death by her mother, Kim Englehaupt; her brother, Danny Englehaupt; her father-in-law, William Meister; her grandfather, Al (Lucy) Hosner; her grandmother, Nellie Englehaupt; and her faithful companion, Sissy.
Crystal’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will forever remain in the fabric of her community. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A visitation will be held on March 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM where family and friends will share memories. Visitation and service will be at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Homes, located at 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Aultman Cancer Center nurses and the staff of Aultman Hospice for giving such caring and compassionate services.
