Born on February 18, 1943, Clifton lived a life marked by dedication, humility, and a strong commitment to those he loved most. He was a cherished member of the Pentecostal Church of God, where his faith and fellowship brought him great comfort and joy.

Throughout his career, Clifton faithfully served as a truck driver, a profession through which he demonstrated tireless work ethic and reliability until his retirement. Beyond his professional life, his enduring passion was his family, whom he held dear above all else. His love and devotion touched the lives of many.

Clifton is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Eldridge, who shared his journey and stood by him through life’s many moments. He was a proud father to his sons, Clifton (Tammy) Eldridge, Jr., and Rodney (Allyson) Eldridge. He enjoyed being a grandfather to Joshua Eldridge, Aubrey Morel, Ian Eldridge, Gabriel Eldridge, and Brandon Eldridge. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Corbin Eldridge, Jeremiah Eldridge, Carlie Seward, Kayla Seward, and Kylie Seward.

He is mourned by all who knew him and was preceded in death by his parents, Marrow and Cintha Eldridge; his brothers, Charlie, Carl, and Calvin Eldridge; and his sisters, Bonnie Spicer and Barbara Tachiera.
