Christy R. Gossett

Christy R. Gossett, age 40 of Jackson Twp., died on Thursday, February 9, 2012 as a result from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Christy was born on October 20, 1971 in Memphis, TN. She was a 1989 graduate of Kenmore High School and went on to Kent State and Akron Universities, where she earned her Master's degree in education. Christy was a 4th grade teacher at Lake Cable Elementary School, having previously served as the Assistant Principle in the Doylestown School District. She had an energy about her that made her a great communicator and well-respected educator of children. She is survived by her husband, John D. Gossett, whom she married on August 8, 1998, her children, Carson, age 11, Alexa, age 8 and Lauren, age 5, her mother, Phyllis (Robert) Cardinal, her father, Russell (Dottie) Snyder, and her brothers, Blake and Keith (Janae) Snyder. A service to celebrate Christy's life will take place on Thursday February 16th, at 2:00pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating It will then be followed by a gathering from 3:00 to 7:00pm. All family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be remitted in Christy's honor to Huntington Bank.
