Cheryl Anne Deal

Cheryl Anne Deal, 74, of Massillon, passed away on December 28, 2025 at The Pavilion of Canal Fulton.

She was born on November 9, 1951 to the late Howard and Ellen (Unger) Deal in Canton, OH.

Cheryl was a member of Cathedral of Life, and retired in 2014 from Value City. Known for her outgoing personality, she never met a stranger. She had a Heart of Gold, loving, compassionate, reserved, but protective, yet passive and caring. Cheryl was dedicated to her family and especially fond of her cats.

Cheryl is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and DeeDee (Campbell) Harter; grandchildren, Brittney (Erich) Grenz and Katie Martin; three great-grandchildren; brother, Tim Deal; ex-husband, Robert Harter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Bobby Deal, Kenny Deal, and Roger Deal.

Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026 11:00 am in the Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
