Charles G. Nida

Charles G. Nida, a dedicated and hardworking individual who devoted over 35 years to his career at Greif Corp., retired as a respected supervisor, passed away on June 5, 2026. Born on February 9, 1940, Charles led a life marked by commitment and perseverance, qualities he demonstrated throughout his professional journey and personal life.

His enduring work ethic and leadership at Greif Corp. left a lasting impression on colleagues and the community alike. Charles was not only known for his professional accomplishments but also for the warmth and kindness he shared with those around him.

Charles is survived by his loving son, Steven (Tazie) Nida, who stands as a testament to Charles’s legacy. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Nida, son Timothy Nida, daughter Lisa Snyder, and his parents, Opal and Earl Nida. Their memories are cherished by all who knew him.

Charles G. Nida’s life will be remembered with respect and affection by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy endures in the hearts of his family and all whose lives he touched.

Charles will be laid to rest at Massillon Cemetery located on Erie Street South in Massillon, Ohio, 44646.
