He attended East Technical High School in Cleveland for two years before graduating from South High School in Cleveland in 1953.

Chuck was a proud American and an avid gun enthusiast. He attended outdoor meetings for the NRA, was a member of the Ohio Gun Collection Club, Lempe Shooting Club, life member of the Canton McKinley Rifle and Pistol Club, member of the Stark County Gun Collection Club as well as many others too numerous to mention.

He was also an avid sports fan even when the Browns weren’t doing good, and he loved a good boxing match.
