Catherine L. Blanchard, age 71 of Akron passed away Friday May 1, 2015 at Affinity Medical Center. Catherine was born May 25, 1943 in Barberton and lived in Summit and Stark Counties most of her life. She served in the Marines and received an Honorable Discharge. Catherine retired from Goodyear Aerospace in Akron. Mrs. Blanchard is survived by two sons: Kevin Blanchard and Charles A. Blanchard. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
