Carolyn L. Chapman

Carolyn Chapman, 89, of Massillon, passed away on August 12, 2022 at Country Club Nursing Home. She was born on June 5, 1933 in Massillon, OH to the late Joseph and Olivetta (Heckathorn) Peterson. She married Charles Edward Chapman and they were married until his passing in 2014. Carolyn was a homemaker and took great pride in taking care of her family. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crafts, reading, video games, making jewelry and collecting teapots. Carolyn liked to stay busy and was always on the go. She was a woman of strong faith and was a very caring person. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Carolyn is survived by her loving granddaughter, Tiffany (Adam Riggle) J. Chapman; her sisters, Delores and Judy. In additon to her parents and husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter Nila Chapman and son Charles E. Chapman.
