Carol DeHass, 92, of Massillon, passed away on November 4, 2026 at Amherst Meadows.
She was born on February 23, 1934 to the late Denis and Rosie (Haney) Loulos in Independence, MO.
Carol enjoyed crocheting, but her greatest passion was volunteering for the First Baptist Church in Massillon. She spent her time there decorating and serving meals.
Traveling was another passion of hers, heading out West to visit national parks, visiting the country's beaches, and even spending time in Alaska. Missouri held its own special place in her heart; she visited the state every single year in the summer.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Julie Glutting, son, Darren (Timmie Lynn Poglajen) DeHass, daughter-in-law, Karen DeHass, brother, Theodore Loulos, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel DeHass, brothers, Andrew Loulos, Nicholas Loulos, and Constantine Loulos, son-in-law John Glutting, and two grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Massillon.
