Bruce D. Shanower

Bruce D. Shanower age 51 of Canton passed away Saturday September 1, 2007 at his residence. Bruce was born July 17, 1956 in Massillon to the late Clarence & Shirley (Simon) Shanower. He was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School and still an avid tiger fan. For 30 years he has been employed at Morrow Control in Canton. His interests included: the Cleveland Browns (even though they couldn’t get it together), his 1969 Mustang (that he had since a teenager) and finding humor in most anything. He will be missed by his sons and daughter in law: David & Tiffany Shanower of & Derek Shanower all of Canton; a sister Beth (Robert) Thompson of Quaker City, OH and his brother Brian (Mary Ann) Shanower of Canton. A Memorial Service will be Friday from 2:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Rev. John L. Moosey will officiate. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 P.M. The family would appreciate memorials be sent to the Stark County Humane Society.
