Bobby J. Longshore

Bobby J. Longshore, 73, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Bobby was born on November 18, 1951 in Massillon, Ohio the son of the late Willie and Lillie (Potter) Longshore.

Bobby grew up in Massillon and graduated from Washington High School in 1969. Bobby was a lifelong musician and played Bass guitar in several local bands, as well as in Atlanta, GA and New York city. He treasured the time spent with his family, and the numerous friends he met during his life. He enjoyed attending live music events and sharing his knowledge of music history with others. He joined Shiloh Baptist Church at a young age.

He is survived by his daughter, Brooke (Jermain) Jefferson; grandchildren, Dajanae, Layla, and Oryan Jefferson; sister, Bonnie Longshore; brother, Jeffrey (Laurie) Longshore; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many close friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Willie Luke Longshore, Ruby Copeland, Amos Longshore, Jimmy Longshore, Tommy Longshore, and Johnny Longshore.
