Beverly J. Popovich

Beverly Popovich, 90, of Massillon, passed away on July 6, 2026 at Brewster Parke.

She was born on October 1, 1935 to the late John and Amella (Teis) Herman in Canton, OH.

A graduate of McKinley High School, she worked as a server for many years at local area restaurants. She also worked as a nurses aide at Shady Lawn and ended her career at RW Screw Products. Beverly enjoyed in her younger years bowling, roller skating, and then later in life cross stitching, crocheting, and crafting. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.

Beverly is survived by her loving children, Vickie (Kim) Shankle, John (Lora) Popovich, and Mark (Amy) Popovich; grandchildren, Andrew (Abby) Popovich, Austin Popovich, and Kyle Popovich; siblings, John Herman, Jim Herman, Sue Herman-Jones, and Loretta (Bill) Coleman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Popovich in 2014; and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Paula Herman, and brothers-in-law, Jack Jones and Dan Osbun.

Visitation will be held , Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am, at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, with funeral services starting at 11:30 am with Rev. Gary Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
