Betty L. Corban

Betty L. Corban, 84, of Massillon, passed away on May 31, 2022, following a brief illness. . She was born on October 25, 1937 to the late Ruble and Mona (Townsand) Taylor in Halbrook, WVA. Betty was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School and worked as the Office Manager at Sturgios Kurtzman Law Firm. She was dedicated to her family and loved to shop. She never met a stranger, ready to help a person in need and was always ready to celebrate a birthday or special event. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Russell Corban; children, Bruce Corban, Cindy (Bruce) Werhan and Robert (Patty) Corban; grandchidren, Josh, Lisa, Abby, Michael, Carli, Andy and Jenna; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Reese and Linda Buckwalter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandson; and sister, Mary Taylor. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, 10:00 am - 11:00am at Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Burial Park .
