Barbara Ann Sanford, 92, of Massillon, passed away on July 22, 2025. She was born in Huntington, WV on May 22, 1933 to the late William W. and Margaret L. (Zimmek) Scott.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Sanford and daughter Vicky Miller. Siblings Margaret Louise Hess of Colby, WI, Richard William Scott of Massillon, OH and Carolyn Weiznecker of Tomahawk, WI. , and grandchildren Erica Miller and Lisa Sanford.

Barbara is survived by her loving children Larry (Rick) Sanford and wife Lori of Savannah, GA; Karen Marsh and husband Doug and Scott Sanford, both of Massillon, OH; 5 Grandchildren; Lindsay Yezbak (Marsh), Geoffrey Marsh, Shawn Miller, Jessica Minor (Sanford), Rachael Sanford, and 8 Great-Grandchildren; Karson Roggenburk, Landon Yezbak, Hudson Yezbak, Sloane Yezbak, Miles Miller, Trent Wright, Vincent Wright and Soren Wright.

Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed Bingo with her friends. She was a woman of many talents, from sewing and cross-stitching to refinishing furniture and earning her pilot's license. She was always busy with projects that showcased her creativity. She was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran church and held God close to her heart.

Barbara loved her family and was happiest in the company of those she loved. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. We take comfort in knowing her pain has ended and we will one day be together again.
