Barbara Sue Rinehart

Barbara Sue Rinehart, 72, of Canton, Ohio, passed away May 29, 2026. She was born on August 23, 1953 to the late Irwin G. and Billie R. (Ford) Bing.

Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was employed at Mercy Medical Center from 1977 until 1999, where she worked in the cardiac unit as a nursing assistant. She was very proud to have earned 19 years of sobriety. She was a true social butterfly- making friends wherever she went. Barbara was also a life-long avid Beatles fan.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her partner in life, Kim A. DeOrio; her sister, Sandra K. (Bing) May; and her brother, Kirk P. Bing.

She is survived by her beloved children, Erik A. (Heidi S.) Rinehart and Shannon R. Jones; grandchildren, Gene A. Jones Jr., Vanessa M. Jones, Kimberly R. Rinehart, and Mackenzie R. Croston; great-grandson, Raymond M. Rinehart; and soon to be great-grandson, Milo S. Hall.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
