Barbara Ann Remley

Barbara Ann (Corbett) Remley, 87, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026.

Barb was born on September 22, 1938, to the late Robert M. and Georgia M. (Workman) Corbett in East Greenville, Ohio, and graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1956.

On August 25, 1956, Barb married James Timothy “Tim” Remley, and they spent nearly 70 wonderful years together.

Barb loved spending time looking for shells at the beach and camping and boating on Berlin Lake. She enjoyed playing cards with family and in multiple card clubs with her friends. A lifelong member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Barb sang in the choir and participated in her Sunday School classes for many years. Barb sold Avon in the community for over 20 years.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her husband, Tim; her children: Jan (Tom) Auseon, Jacquie (Bob) Burtt, and Sean (Tiffany) Remley; her grandchildren: Aaron Kiefer, Krista (Doug) Garner, Douglas (Joseph) Remley, Bobby Burtt, Elizabeth (Matthew) Mutigli, and Katie (Laine) Burtt; her great-grandsons, Austin (Hunter) and Braydon; and her sister, Joyce Corbett.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10 AM – 11 AM, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd., Massillon, OH 44646, where a funeral service will promptly begin at 11 AM. Interment will immediately follow in Brookfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barb’s name to Epworth United Methodist Church or CorsoCare Hospice.
