Barbara Bitzel Carlile

Barbara Eve Bitzel-Carlile, 63, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away July 24, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1963 and was raised by Eva Bitzel, and the late William Bitzel.

Barbara was a graduate from Stark State College, earning a degree in Bio-Tech. She was a loving, caring, and kind person. Even after her passing, she wanted to help others by being a part of the organ donation process.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Bitzel, and her brother Bob Bitzel.

Barbara is survived by her children, Gabby Carlile and Grace Carlile; mother, Eva Bitzel; grandchildren, Amayah, Ella, and Finnegan; sister-in-law, Cindy; nephew, Cory; special sister, Brenda; and two special brothers, Troy and Kevin.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Paquelet Funeral Home. A committal service will immediately follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
