Arthur Robert Jarc, Jr.

Arthur Robert Jarc, Jr., 84, of Massillon, passed away on January 13, 2026 at home.

He was born on October 10, 1941 to the late Arthur and Amelia (Murgel) Jarc in Cleveland, OH.

A graduate of East High School, Cleveland, Art received his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University. He worked in retail management most of his life, but also worked as a substitute teacher for Cleveland Municipal Schools. Art was a member of St. Vitus Catholic Church. He loved working on cars, listening to 50’s and 60’s music, and watching Indy, NASCAR, and drag racing. He adopted many homeless cats. He enjoyed home improvements and repairs. Art loved to spend time with family.

Art is survived by his loving sons, Paul (Brigitte) Jarc and David (Lauren) Jarc; grandchildren, David, Stephen, Gillian, and Phillip; the mother of his children, Betsey Jarc; partner, Connie Voris; best friend, Bob Gubanc; and many cousins and their families.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Karen, William, and Gail Jarc; and brother, Robert Jarc.
