Angie M. Brockett

Angie M. Brockett, age 52, of Massillon, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 24, 2025.

Angie was born on November 24, 1972, in Aurora, Colorado to George Goodman and Donna Stalder. For much of Angie’s childhood, she and her family moved around as her father was in the United States Air Force. She had lived in many places such as Florida, Nevada and Germany, which was her favorite. By her senior year of high school, Angie had rooted in Massillon, OH, where she was a 1990 graduate of Perry High School. Angie met the love of her life, David Brockett, at Canton Regency in 2000. Together, they raised a family and spent many years making their house a “home” for their children. Many memories were made while doing renovations and home repairs. Angie enjoyed hobbies such as cooking, quilting, gardening and fostering community at her churches; first as a member of Grace Fellowship Church and then later a member of Perry Christian Church. She was known for her generous spirit as she often volunteered as well, working at food drives and craft sales within her church. Angie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Angie leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, David Brockett, children Joseph Goodman and Lidia Brockett; parents George Goodman and Donna Stalder; brother Paul (Michelle) Goodman; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Per Angie’s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation in her honor will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5 – 7 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646.
