Alicia M. Pledgure

Alicia M. Pledgure, 64, of Massillon, passed away on March 24, 2016. She was born in Warren on September 2, 1951. Alicia worked for Electra Cord and Save – A-Lot until her retirement. She was a member of Life Ministries International Church. She is survived by her children, Dana (Dawne) Smith, Judy (Darryal) Williams, Michele Thompson and Melvin Pledgure, Jr., Marcus Pledgure, Frank (Kim) White, Abraham Billings and Arlene (Robert) Lang; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; three sister, Julia Williams, Judy Wilburn Beechum and Jenny Wilburn; and four brothers, Ozell Williams, Ricky Williams, John Williams and Hobart Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucy (Smith) Wilburn; husband, Melvin Pledgure, Sr.; a son, Joseph Morgan; a daughter Cheryl Pledgure; three sisters, Cheryl Ann Smith, Joan Wilburn and Marlene Smith; and a brother, Billy Smith. A private gathering was held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
