Alexandra Elyse Neal

Alexandra Elyse Neal, 35, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on October 30, 2026. She was born on June 29, 1991 in Canton, Ohio.

Alexandra was a 2009 graduate of Central Catholic High School. After graduation, she attended Dayton University, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree. She furthered her education at Bowling Green University, obtaining her Master's Degree and Doctorate. Through her studies, she was able to travel and gain many different experiences that furthered her education. She had many speaking opportunities, and publications of her work on ecotoxicology. Alexandra was awarded The Sea Grant Knauss Fellowship from NOAA, which led her to Washington D.C. for a year before landing a position in her dream location, Seattle, Washington. She was currently working at Exponent as an Environmental Consultant.

Alexandra was a loving fiancée to ML, and a dog mom to Nutmeg and Regal, who she loved more than anything. She loved all things nature, spending time outside brought her peace and enjoyment (despite her deep fear of most birds). She was a kind and understanding person, who supported everyone around her. She was a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and enjoyed doing things to help those close to her and members of her community. She loved to cook and bake for everyone, even her pets.

She was a proud power lifter, artist, and musician. Alexandra was the type of person who paid attention, and made sure everyone felt welcome. Every new place she went she made instant, lifelong friends. She loved her friends like family, and made friends out of strangers.

A gathering will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
