Zelma M. Heidy

Zelma M. Heidy, 100 of Canal Fulton, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015. Zelma was born in Akron on June 19, 1915 the daughter of Ralph and Grace (Cady) Weaver. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Zelma was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marion G. Heidy in 2008 and her sister Evelyn Sokol. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sharie & John Kerner and Donald & Margie Heidy; her grandchildren, Craig & Cathy Kerner, Robert Heidy, Francine & John Grant, Tim & Lisa Kerner, Lori & Ron Simpson, Daniel & Shelly Heidy and Thomas & Annette Heidy; 14 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; her sister Beverly Easterday and numerous nieces and nephews.
