Tom Loomis

Tom Loomis Sr., age 75, of Massillon passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1935 in Massillon the son of the late Harry and Clara Loomis. Tom was retired from Ohio Paper Products. He loved spending time with family, and also enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and playing scratch-off lottery tickets. On November 14, 1959 Tom married Joyce E. (Herman) and she survives along with their children Tom Loomis Jr. of Massillon, Tammy (Darrell) Anderson of Perry Twp., and Neil Loomis of Canton; brothers Bruce Loomis of Massillon, and Jerry Loomis of Idaho; sisters Margaret (Lawrence) Rhoades of Massillon, and Nancy Diglaw of Navarre; grandchildren Katherine Loomis, Michelle Loomis, Darrell Anderson Jr., Tom Anderson, and Elaine Anderson. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Neil, Hollis, Robert, Larry, and Arthur Loomis. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 18th at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. Donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Boys & Girls Club in Massillon.
