Timothy D. Mccune

Timothy D. McCune, 64, of Massillon, passed away on June 15, 2023 following a brief illness.

He was born on February 27, 1959 to the late Herbert McCune and Reliah (Abbott) McCune of Massillon, OH.

Tim was a graduate of Fairless High School, Class of 1977 and he worked as supervisor for many years in plastic manufacturing.

He was a warm friendly caring man, who could talk an ear off. He loved his family and friends. Tim liked to ride his motorcycle, joke with his friends and have a good time. A NASCAR fan, he watched faithfully every Sunday.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Competty) McCune, whom he married on February 20, 1999; children, Jason D. McCune and Jennifer Othman; grandchildren, Olivia, Jacob, Aramis and Amelia; siblings, Terry McCune, Todd McCune, Leanna Wentzel and Lori Woodring; and family friend, Tim Baim (His brother from another mother).

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Travis McCune, Thomas McCune, Troy McCune; and nephew, Troy Dean McCune.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 6pm - 8pm at Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, 10:30 am at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, with Rev. Gary Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery.
