Stanley C. Anderson

The Reverend Doctor Stanley C. Anderson, 72, went Home to The Lord on December 27, 2020 following a battle with Covid 19. He was born in Canton on February 19, 1948 to the late Millard W. and the late Dorothy I. (Randal) Anderson. Stan was a graduate of Perry High School, Class of 1966, Massillon Baptist College, Citadel Seminary, Covington Theological Seminary, National Christian Counselors Association and the Great Plains Baptist Divinity School. He was a member of Carrollton Baptist Temple and also served the church. He also belonged to IBEW 540. Stan was a Pastor, missionary, teacher, Fire and EMS Chaplain and most recently accepted to become a Civil Air Patrol Chaplain. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan M. (Graves) Anderson, whom he married on April 15, 1967; their children, Tina M. (Timothy) Kahler and Chaplain (MAJ) Jonathan (Victoria) Anderson; eight grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and his sister, Kaye (John) Larson. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 10:30am in the Carrollton Baptist Temple, 1211 Lincoln Ave SW, Carrollton, OH 44615, Pastor David Powell officiating.
