Ryan A. Roberson, 38, passed away on November 2, 2017, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on August 26, 1979. Ryan was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1997. He loved cars and trucks and worked as an auto-reconditioner. He was very athletic and loved all sports. Known for his outgoing and social personality; he loved people and was very close to his family. He was very philosophical and loved to talk and engage in politics “Ya Digg.” He is survived by his children, Noah, Aaliyah, Isaiah, Samarah and their mother Nichole Bourquin, Ryan, and Quincy Roberson and their mother Tanisha all of Massillon; his mother, Molly (Turley) Webb; his seven brothers, Tracy Streeter, Demetrious Mercer, Willie Roberson, LaMar Webb, Raymond Webb, Jason Webb and Christopher Mercer; sisters, Beth ( Les’Han) McCullough, Denise Roberson, Danetra ( Dennis) Gates-Freeman, Joy Oliver, Breanna Roberson, Brittney Roberson and Margaret Stevenson; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and Special friends, Troy Pope, Mike Harris and Chuck G. Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Willie A. Roberson; brother, Gayland Roberson; sister, Renee Mercer; and special friend Quincy McGuire. Friends will gather on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 3:00pm-5:00 with a Home Going Celebration of Ryan’s Life held at 5:00pm. Burial will be private in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
