Quincy P. Mcguire

Quincy P. McGuire, 33, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Affinity Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born in Canton and graduated from Washington High School, Class of 1997. He was attending Stark State College, majoring in Social Work. He had a great compassion for his community and felt a need to try and help people. He was a devoted servant of the Lord. Quincy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his mother, Valerie ( Melvyn Meadows) McGuire, father, Charles Woods, fiancée, Lori Denman and her son, Anthony McCormick, his God-son, Tayveon Montgomery, five uncles, Loren (Carol), Keith, Michael, Jeff (Regina) & Kim McGuire and an aunt, Deborah McGuire, five cousins, who were like brothers and sisters, Joy, James, Travis, Milo & Darion McGuire, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Constance McGuire. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM with a funeral service held at 12:00PM, Rev. Anthony Robinson, Officiating.
