Marion G. Smith

Marion G. Smith, 77, passed away on January 6, 2017, following an extended illness. She was born on May 18, 1939 in Massillon to the late Fernon & Ida (Givler) Smith. A graduate of Jackson High School, she retired from the accounting dept. at The Timken Company. Marion was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church. She loved to bowl, volunteer at her church and she also volunteered to help with tax preparation. She is survived by her brother and two sisters, Reggie Smith, Sharlyn Horn and Janet Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service on 11:00am Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Stephan Martyr Lutheran Church, Jackson Twp., Dr. Bruce R. Roth, officiating.
