Lucille E. Pitz

Lucille E. Pitz, 97, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Emerson on December 3, 1916 to the late Andrew and Mary Anna (Terry) Calhoun. Lucille had retired from the Pan Handle Eastern Pipeline Company. She was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose. She was known for her determination, strength and sense of humor. She was a funny generous and outgoing lady. She is survived by her daughter, Gertrude V. Tobin of Niles; two grandchildren, Tim (Barbara) Tobin of Carrolton and Linda Harper of Summerville, SC; six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a special nephew Kenneth Calhoun; and two nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otto Pitz and six brothers and sisters. A private service will be held for family and friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
