Lisa A. Wood Shiplett

Lisa A. Wood-Shiplett, 54, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Lisa was born on January 6, 1967, in Massillon the daughter of Willis and Mary (Zimmerly) Wood. Lisa was a 1985 graduate of Washington High School. She worked for Lykins Energy Solutions as a dispatcher. Lisa enjoyed painting, swimming, sunbathing, and cooking. She was a social butterfly and could light up and put a smile on everyone’s face. Lisa is survived by her husband, Tony L. Shiplett, whom she shared 27 years of marriage; daughter, Goldie (Riley Selzer) Shiplett; parents, Willis (Mary) Wood; brothers, Scott (Kimberly) Ady and Richard Wood; sister, Tina Lynch; and her niece, Gracie Lynch. Her family will receive guests at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #221.
