Henry Devan Schmid

Henry Devan Schmid, age 87 of Canton passed away December 19, 2015 at Chapel Hill. Hank was born December 18, 1928 to the late Hans Karl & Martha (Metz) Schmid. He was a 1954 graduate of University of Pittsburgh with a BA in business. Hank was a member of the Cleveland Advertising Club and FOE #190. He retired in 1984 after 41 years as Advertising Manager and Director of Marketing for Davey Tree Expert Co. Henry loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Sue Kruse, a brother Bruce K Schmid and a sister Betty S. Henry. Services will be with the Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Voltz Funeral Home in Evans City, PA. Burial will be at Mars Cemetery.
