Gene Van Pelt, Jr.

Gene Van Pelt Jr., age 57 passed away Sunday at the Scenic Point Nursing Home, Millersburg, OH. He was born May 14, 1957 in Akron to Gene & Marlene (Mohney) Van Pelt. He was a kind person who appreciated the wonderful care he received at Scenic Point for the past 25 years. He had a special place in his heart for animals. He was preceded in death by his father Gene Van Pelt Sr. He is survived by his mother Marlene (Charles) Brooks; five siblings, Deborah (Roger) Lamp, Cheryl Van Pelt, Russ (Deborah) Van Pelt, Lois Van Pelt and Marie Van Pelt and many nieces and Nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Service will be 10:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
