Emma Kathleen Master

Emma Kathleen Master crossed over into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 20, 2008. She was a dedicated Christian who was devoted to her family. She was born August 19, 1922, in Avery County, NC, to the late Charles & Dimple Burleson. In addition to her parents, her husband of 38 years, Harry D. Master, Jr., died on April 10, 1983. Her children will cherish her memory: Rebecca (Steve) York, Harry (Etta) Master, Kathleen (John) Hatt, Susan (Hal) Burkholder and Walter (Carol) Master; and 13 grandchildren: Brian, April, David, Melody, Aaron, Heather, Caleb, Jennifer, Keith, Joshua, Stephanie, Sarah and Joshua; and ten great grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Services will be 1 PM Friday at the funeral home, her pastor Rev. Cecil Thayer will officiate.
