Elizabeth K. Stefanko

Elizabeth K. Stefanko, age 91 of Perry Twp, passed away April 17, 2011. Liz was born March 26, 1920 in West Homestead, PA to the late Leo & Katherine (O’Konsky) Koffel. She graduated in 1938 from Washington High School. Her life revolved around food. She was a chef at the former Top Chalet Restaurant in Jackson Twp. Liz and her late husband Joe catered many activities from their home. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Columbian Ladies Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Stafanko in 2002; a daughter Claudia Ream in 1994 and a son Attroney Michael Stefanko in 1999. She is survived by a daughter in law, Mary Beth Stefanko of Massillon, four grandchildren: Richard ‘Chip’ Ream, Jared Stefanko, Seth Stefanko, and Marisha Stefanko and a great grandson Quinton Ream. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon with Fr. Raymond Paul officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
