Dorothy N. West

Dorothy N. West, age 87 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Gus, KY on September 23, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Dennis and Eleanor (Craig) Matherlee. She worked for 10 years at J.C. Penney, but spent most of her life taking care of her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Doris Misamore. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Donald N. West of the home, her son Gary (Cindy) Kelley, her daughters, Diana Jones, JoAnn Hufstetler and Patricia (David) Rowe, her grandchildren Jessica (James) Lindenberger, Amanda (Joseph) Schranghamer, Jacquelyn Hufstetler and Andrea Hufstetler, her great grandson Benjamin Schranghamer and her brother Thomas (Charlotte) Matherlee. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
