Clarence "Curly" Cosgrove

Clarence 'Curly' Cosgrove, age 66 of Canton passed away July 30. He was born November 30, 1948 in Massillon and was raised by Milton & Margaret (Kovatch) Howell. He was a graduate of Perry High School. Curly was a 31 year employee of the Timken Company and owner of Cosgrove Trucking. He was preceded in death by his father Milton Howell and a brother, Rick Howell. He is survived by his wife Lynda Lorton-Cosgrove. He has two children and two step-children. They are Christine (George) Koontz and their two children and four grandchildren; Julie (Russ) Baker and their son Jacob; and his step-son Eric (Lisa) Ryland and their five children and step-daughter Valerie (Dan) Crowder and son; Also surviving are his mother Margaret Howell and three siblings: Dan Cosgrove, Richard Cosgrove (Debbie) and Laura Gentile. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
