Carol Ann Wenzel

Carol A. Wenzel, 69, of Massillon, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. Carol was born on July 6, 1947 in Massillon the daughter of the late Robert and Eileen (Coyne) Harig. Carol was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1965 graduate of Washington High School. She drove bus for the Massillon City School District for 28 years. She enjoyed fishing, traveling to casinos, painting, and crafts. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She is survived by her husband, Walt Wenzel whom she married on May 18, 1974; her children, Bill (Andrea) Wenzel and Mindy (Gary) Frascone; grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Alexa, Jared and Addyson Wenzel, Jeff, Kristopher, Nathan, and Vanessa Frascone; siblings, Robert (Alithia), Jr., Connie (Bud) Boney and Vicki (Tom) Mathers; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
