Curt is a 1987 graduate of Fairless High School in Navarre, OH and a 1996 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He was honored to receive the Delaine L. Beaver award for highest artistic competence exhibited in restorative art. He is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers, and has been with the firm as a funeral director and embalmer since 2001.

Curt is a member of the New Philadelphia First Assembly of God, where he is a youth group sponsor, Bible Quiz coach, Fine Arts Coordinator, a choir member, and an usher, and attends the First Assembly of God in Massillon. He also serves on the Jesus Day Board of Tuscarawas county and is a member of the Gideons International Massillon Camp.

Curt enjoys collecting "N scale" trains, model planes and Mickey Mouse memorabilia, and is an avid bowler. He is most known as "Digger" by his friends.
